We put up our tree last night and lit the menorah (a bi-cultural holiday season is upon us!) and the boys are thrilled. I think Z is more excited about the holidays than I am - hard to believe, I know.
This holiday season is bittersweet. Surviving cancer is an amazing feeling, but surviving cancer means that I've been a cancer warrior for the past 6 months... NOT a career warrior. We're cutting back in ways we never thought we'd have to. I can only hope we're over the hump of madness and I can continue to focus on bringing in my portion of the double income we need to live our humble middle-class lifestyle. The good thing is that cutting back means being crafty and that's something I like to do!
It's a fresh new week starting today. I can't wait to make it a successful one... oh, and I have SO MUCH hair coming in. Stay tuned for the big reveal. :)
