Life

Guess what? I may have cancer, but life continues. I broke my cell phone, Zac has a cough, Caleb has an ear infection and the groceries need to shopped for.

Before cancer (bc- as I've learned it's called), I was intimidated by the word... seems SO BIG. After being diagnosed and as I learn more about the process, it's not quite as overwhelming. I feel like I've gone to a foreign country - somewhere in Europe perhaps - it's the same, but different, and I'm learning how to navigate the language, use the currency, etc. Every day it gets easier, still not my native land, but I can do this.

The more stories I hear, the more women I meet. The amazing support I've received (and it is amazing!), gives me an inner strength to help me work my way around so that I don't simply crawl in the corner and cry.

Life is going on. Just a bummer that I can't make summer vacation plans :(
