Empowerment:

An excerpt from The Woman's Book of Courage: Meditations for Empowerment & Peace of Mind (Thank you, Kristi)
"We used to believe that illness was something over which we had absolutely no control. If we were sick or injured there was no choice but to put our fate in the hands of doctors. With research, medical experts now know that a patient is much more in control of her healing than we previously believed. Our attitudes, beliefs, and emotions all affect how we heal. Challenging the old beliefs that we need to turn complete responsibility for our health over to someone else is a courageous decision to make.".... "While not a substitute for necessary medical care, affirming health and the perfect working of our immune system is a powerful tool we can use to stimulate our natural healing abilities"
Related affirmations: My immune system is perfectly balancing and healing my body. My body is strong and resilient.

At 1:00 pm on Tuesday, I'll have imaging done to check the size of the tumor. Please send me your positive energy and thoughts during that time. I'll be meeting with the surgeon at 3:00 pm that day, so hopefully he'll have some happy news for me. I want the tumor to shrink and the lymph node behind my breast bone to become cancer free (though, I doubt we'll get that information on Tuesday).

SHOUTOUT: Thank you to the Brunos, Melinda and Heather Dana. Truly appreciate your support this weekend!!

**Today, I am thankful to have felt so good this weekend, I wore myself out.**
