Round 2, Day 1 - Chemo

Well, after a marathon of a morning at the cancer center, I'm home. I'm going to DILIGENTLY track how I feel every day so I can hone in on better ways to manage the side effects. So far, I'm just a little tired and my tummy feels week (honestly, that could be because I was hungry. Luckily, hubby had lunch prepared, so I should feel better soon).

I was FINALLY able to do acupuncture with a lovely lady at the Integrative Care Center up at RMCC. I was originally thinking I was going to do one treatment per chemo session, but after talking to her, I think it may be more beneficial to step it up to before and after treatment .... especially since we have a well booked social calendar this summer. Unfortunately, insurance doesn't cover acupuncture :( and cancer is turning into a very expensive disease. The ICC does accept donations of any amount on my behalf, so if you're feeling like you'd like to somehow contribute during this challenging time, this could be a good way to do it. The number is 720-854-7292.

Thank you again to everyone who is sending us love and support. It's overwhelming and nearly impossible to personally respond to it all.... THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! This journey would be impossible to manage without you.
