It is unbelievable how much I miss you. Your ready-for-anything spunk, your love of Duran Duran, your belly laughs over the silliest stuff... you're a pretty fun chick and I'm ready to hang out again.
Since you've been gone I've turned into a dull Betty... bwahhhh. Few things give me belly laughs anymore and hearing Duran Duran just makes me sad because I don't have the energy to dance on the coffee table like we used to. It just makes me miss you even more.
You know what else I miss about you? Your eyebrows. Yeah, I know, that's kinda weird. And, to think you HATED those things in 1985 (of course, a few select boys who called you uni-brow didn't help), but, you know what... those were some hot brows! Brows are in! And, I hear that thick brows make you look younger. I miss those brows.
Not even Cosmo gives me the joy it did when we were together. Have you seen how crass girls are these days? The NERVE! (When DID I turn into such a fuddy-duddy?). I need you again to make me feel young and hip.
Anyway. I just wanted you to know that I really, really miss you. And, I'm looking forward to hanging out again and having all the fun we used to (but, without the risky crane climbing, ok?) Just let me know when you're ready to come back and I'll be here with open arms.

You never cease to amaze me. You are a class act. I do not know how you write like you do so soon after going through chemo. I would expect this after maybe another week or two.
