B Update

Basco is now home and doing ok. He's pretty confused as to why he has to wear the cone and keeps knocking things over. The stairs (and you have to use stairs to get anywhere in/out of our house) are a bit of a challenge... but he's managing ok.

We opted against having the toe biopsied because we know he's sick and we've prepared for a shortened life. The only treatment for cancer is chemo pills, but he can't take those with his prednisone (which he currently takes for severe allergies). We'd rather him have a shorter life that has a higher quality than make him live longer and be itchy and bald for the rest of his life (he itches and his hair falls out when we take him off prednisone).

Sooo.... that's that. Makes us sad to see him this way.

    I know this feeling. Sending good thoughts your way. Seamus will be a cone head himself soon. He's got a few bumps that have to be biopsied (March 3rd). All the best.
