Dear Former Susan

Times, they are a changin'... didn't you know?

I went to the physical therapist today at Healthlinks Clinic and learned a few things. (Frankly, these were things I think I already knew -but that's just between me & you). First off, I need to start taking my health more seriously. The fact of the matter is that we need to see our boys grow up, have enough time to get some traveling in with hubby and, of course!, meet the grand kids. In short, we need to prioritize.

Here's our list of things to work towards:
1. Walk/exercise 5 hours per week- so, so hard with little ones and work, etc.
2. Cut back on sugar - yes, I really need to do this.
3. Lose 10 lbs - easy to do once I master the first two items.
4. Cut back on the alcohol -  This one will be hard, because of you.
5. Reduce the stress- 2 kids + 3 jobs + no wine = hmmm. Is this possible???

It's not rocket science. These are ALL things we hear ALL the time, in order to stay healthy. It's just that life was more fun when we were oblivious! Ok, ok, I'll stop talking like that - we CAN still have fun and live healthy too.... right? Yes, we can!

PS We get to keep our energy for three more weeks - radiation was postponed.
