OMFG! Susan, I just now got the bad news about your battle with breast cancer and I'm floored. Not as much as you, I'm sure, but still...
One thing's for sure, though: If there's anybody on the planet who can survive surgery and chemo and whatever else this little cancer shithead tries to throw your way, it's you. I've never known anybody more energetic and truly optimistic (as opposed to falsely optimistic) than you. Your PMA is infectious, and I say that knowing full well that I'm not the most upbeat guy in the world, and that I generally despise peppy people. That's not the case in your case because you're genuine.
That said, I've read a handful of your previous posts, and I can see that having breast cancer hasn't been easy for you, and that it won't be easy for you going forward. I'm trying to think of something to say here that won't sound silly, but all that keeps coming to mind is that I will pray for both your mental and physical health. Also, that next time I'm in Boulder, you will still be willing to buy me a soda; I'm all about me, toots, as you know. :-)
Cheering for Susan.

I miss your smiling face.
